Eagles Soar at Gabriel Richard Invite

It was a gorgeous fall day at the Hudson Mills Metro Park and the men’s and women’s cross country teams took full advantage of the glorious day. Four Eagles finished in the top 15 for the men’s team and two Eagles finished in the top 20 for the women.

Aaron Vicars ran an awesome race taking the gold medal for the Eagles with a winning time of 17:11. Seth Windle earned the bronze after finishing 3rd overall with a time of 17:22. Quinn McLaren had a personal best time of 17:44 and finished in 9th. Senior Ian Hay once again had a strong performance, finishing in 15th with a time of 18:20. Caleb Godin earned his 5th PR of the season (20:01), Eric Moore also had a PR (22:19), and Aaron Geisler nearly ran a season best (23:05). As a team, the men’s cross country team placed second overall in a field of 10 teams for Division 4.

Sienna Ruiter was again leading the charge for the Lady Eagles, finishing 5th overall with a time of 20:13. Eva Warmbier had a personal best, finishing 19th overall with a time of 23:16. Also scoring for PCA were runners Joy Chamberlain finishing 26th (24:27), Jordan Reed finishing 45th (26:59), and Ella Godin, who ran a PR, finishing 55th (28:54). The lady Eagles finished in 5th place in a field of seven teams.

On Friday, October 21st, the Eagles will compete in the MIAC Conference Championships at Nankin Mills in Hines Park (Westland). The men run at 5:00pm and the women run at 5:40pm.
