Game Recap

PCA could not contain senior Karalynn Goering in the first quarter Friday night as she scored 10 of her 14 points to give the Inner City Chargers a 5-16 lead. The Eagles were held to one free throw in the first half while the Chargers went 10 for 14 from the line. PCA trailed 14 to 28 at the half.

Junior Lydia Chapel was able to take advantage of Inter City’s pressing defense in the third quarter by scoring 9 of her game high 23 points on three driving lay-ups and a three for PCA.

Juniors Lydia Chapel and Kennedy Horne shot really well from the field tonight.

Horne scored 11 points which included 3 triples to help PCA’s effort.

The Eagles outscored Inter-City in the third and trailed 25-37 after three.

The Eagle scored 14 fourth quarter points but could not get stops on the defensive end.

We could not overcome our poor first quarter. Inter City’s sophomore guard Jessica Wiedman cut through our defense too easily tonight.

Weidman finished with 21 points on driving lay-ups free throws.

The Eagles fall to 4-14 and play at home next week on Tuesday(6:00) and Friday(7:00) to close out the regular season.
