Both the Women’s and Men’s teams finished in first place in the MIAC Conference Jamboree #1 on Tuesday, September 26th, at Nankin Mills course. This is the first of three races that combine to determine the Conference championship.

On the Women’s side, Sienna Ruiter dominated from start to finish in the blistering heat, running 21:45 and placing first overall. PCA had 5 runners in the top 10 with Nicole Reinhart (3rd, 22:54); Emily Cameron (4th, 23:00); Sarah Reinhart (9th, 24:54) and Eva Warmbier (10th, 25:26) all scoring for the Eagles. Joy Chamberlain (11th, 25:50), Isabel Mossel (21st, 27:54), and Ella Godin (28th, 29:52) all performed well, despite the intense 93 degree heat.

On the Men’s side, Luke Pohl once again led from start to finish, running 17:04 and finishing first overall. Seth Windle (2nd, 17:34), Hunter Torolski (7th, 18:48), Quinn McLaren (13th, 19:37), and Nathan Sutrick (14th, 19:46) all scored for the Eagles. Along with Sutrick’s personal best, Eric Moore also had a p.r., running 20:36 and finishing 18th overall.

The Eagles race again on Saturday, October 7th at Willow MetroPark in the Wayne County Championship. Girls will run at 10:00AM and boys will run at 10:40AM. Come cheer on these amazing teams!
