Boys Varsity Wrestling · Noah Etnyre Prepares for MHSAA Individual Wrestling State Final

The inaugural co-operative wrestling season can already be labeled a success in the eyes of all involved in the 2019-2020 Lutheran Westland wrestling program. PCA had 3 wrestlers this year participate in the Warriors program and all improved tremendously and made impacts to the wrestling program. Noah Etnyre is one of those 3 PCA students and he is blessed to still be wrestling, as most other wrestlers finished their seasons a couple of weeks ago. He not only was the only PCA wrestler to qualify for the MHSAA State Meet this Friday and Saturday at Ford Field. He was the only wrestler in the entire program to qualify! A very difficult task to accomplish, especially as a freshman!

Noah will take the mat this Friday, March 6th. Not to over complicate the bracket, for Noah to advance to Saturday’s rounds, he will need to win 2 matches before he loses 2 matches on Friday. To support, tickets are $18 per person and the doors to the arena will open up at 10:00am. Round 1 begins at 11:30am. You will also be able to watch online for a small subscription fee on MHSAA.tv. Good luck Noah! Way to represent Lutheran Westland, Plymouth Christian, and most importantly, our Lord and Savior!
