Boys Varsity Track, Girls Varsity Track · Varsity Track and Field Season Outlook 2020

PCA Track and Field is looking to build off of last years success with sending 9 athletes to the MHSAA State Championship meet and look to compete for the school’s first MIAC conference championship in school history for both boys and girls. Coach Evan Horne is taking full reigns this year for the program and bringing in a number of specialty coaches through out the year to focus on each kid and their skill sets!
With many athletes for both boys and girls joining this year PCA is looking have one of its largest teams in school history, while bringing back many returning athletes.
For the Girls, PCA is young, yet experienced. PCA is bringing almost all of their team back from last year, including 2-time state qualifier, Junior Emily Cameron and Junior state qualifiers Nicole and Sarah Reinhart. For this year, PCA has added 7 Freshman, 4 Juniors, and 1 Senior in hopes of being able to fill out all events in order to make a “run” at a conference championship this year.
For the boys, PCA is looking young but mighty with only Sophomores Spencer Mistele and Chibi Anwunah, and Junior Evan Schalte returning from the previous season. Along with this very young core of 5 Freshman, 2 Sophomores, 4 Juniors, and 2 Seniors.
PCA will be looking to grow stronger and faster as the season continues to accomplish the goal of bringing the schools first MIAC championship in school history. If you are interested in joining track or field, please contact Athletic Director Matt Windle at or Head Coach Evan Horne at
