Eagles News · Eagles Roll into District Final

CANTON, MI (November 4, 2020) – The PCA Girls Volleyball team cruised into the District Final with a straight-set win over visiting Taylor Trillium Academy, 25-5, 25-7, 25-10.

The Eagles won the match in a little over an hour and were never tested.

Strong serving led the Purple and Gold to a win in the first set. Saige Yakuber reeled off 18 points in a row during the 25-5 win.


The second set looked similar. Led by solid serving by Hallie Creighton and Emma Heussner, the Eagles won the set 25-7 and held two sets to zero lead.


Taylor Trillium tried to close the gap in the third set, but the Eagles were too strong. Ai Zhen Pike and Kathryn McCreedy served well and PCA closed out the match with a 25-10 third set win.

PCA moves into the District Final on Friday against either Lutheran Westland or Huron Valley Lutheran. Game time is 7pm.
