CANTON, MI (February 15, 2021) – Plymouth Christian was clicking on all cylinders tonight as they blitzed Southfield Christian, 69-4 in a game played at PCA.
PCA was nearly perfect defensively in the first half, allowing the only Southfield basket with :03 seconds left in the 2nd quarter.
On offense, the Lady Eagles got good looks inside and had many hoops in transition throughout.
The Eagles led 16-0 after the first quarter with Anna Fernandez leading the way with 10.
Coach Rod Windle played everyone in the first quarter, and all players contributed with a suffocating defense and a quick passing offense that went to the basket with confidence.
That good ball movement continued in the second quarter as the Eagles built their lead to 38-2 at the half.
The second half began with a running clock and PCA continued their fine play. In fact, if PCA had capitalized on all their inside chances, the score could have been much worse.
PCA dominated the third quarter and led 55-4 after three.
The Purple and Gold put an exclamation point on the game with a 14-0 shut out in the 4th and cruised to the 69-4 victory.
